- His name is spelled "Qwark," not "Quark." I don't know why this is such a difficult concept to understand.

I have alwaysed spelt his name like this"Quark" I have no idea why but it just bothers me when I see it spelt like this"Qwark" but eh I'll get over it someday because whenever I play the ratchet and clank games it's really become one of my biggest pet peeves that annoy the hell outa me -.-'

Sorry, I prefer to write "Quark". xD At the origins, it has a scientific sense, as Lufteluke said. "Qwark" doesn't mean anything and I don't regret the "w" even if it can be more class. x)

I guess it is, considering he's named after a subatomic particle, quark. Why they decided to spell it Qwark instead, is unknown to me, but I know I had it wrong untill recently

-.- I know it's only a little thing in fics, but damn it, his name's everywhere in the games with the subtitles, the game packages' backsides and what else. There's no reason to misunderstand it.
At least Qwark's pose and the fact that the text so sounds like him (lol, he would forget how his own name is written XD) eases the irritation when I think about it.

- It's not just in fics, people who are apparently 'hardcore' Ratchet & Clank fans still misspell his name in comments. It's not even that difficult to spell...
I wanted the message to be clear and yet the stamp to be comical, so that way it doesn't sound like I'm calling these people idiots and more like I'm saying, "lol that's my R&C watchers, you sillies."

- Only in Firefox. I do believe it doesn't show at all anywhere else. And it can be disabled.
People need to remember that spell check isn't always correct (especially when it comes to its grammar check). I've had it put wavy lines over really long words it just didn't have in its internal dictionary, and it has called perfectly constructed sentences fragments. I've learned to ignore it over the years. (Unless, of course, it's highlighting a word I don't know and only guessed at its spelling because I heard it on the street. But I tend to put those words through Google Dictionary first.)
