Official Plot summary -
2034, fifty-nine years after the war in Vietnam. The world has fallen into a sea of greed and turmoil. Domestic wars take place on every continent. Power belongs to the most aggressive or the wealthy. In America, billionaires control the government and offer post-government agencies top salary to hunt down those who threaten their reign. - Rodney Cooper, the CEO of the car part dealer CARR, holds deep desires of reaching the top. Though out the past fifty nine years, Rodney had succeeded many roles after his military leave. With assistance of the absent Doctor Ryan McArthur, Rodney had created a league of high-class killing machines known as Auto-trons. Welding the power of the most lethal weapons in the world, Rodney hopes to eliminate all competition to one day control all automotive life across the globe. - If he can seek out and destroy the mysterious vigilante group known as the Autobahn.

Chaos has struck for Rodney Cooper, AT-061 CYRUS - (The single Auto-Tron created by Dr. Ryan McArthur) discovered the secrets behind his creation. With this information, Cyrus escaped CARR and set course to seek out his original creator. Upon arriving in America, the cyborg had befriended James Flynn, an agent working for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. During the following months, James connected Cyrus with a job working under cover with the FBI

I'm curious as to how they emptied the corvette's erg...insides? So cleanly. Hmm, I don't think lethal injection existed yet in the 70s...so I'm guessing they killed him by some form of electrocution?Β

Yup! that is Ryan's baby girl, Dorothy. She plays quite the role. I will introduce her by the end of volume one. Or the very last page of vol 1 
Taxidermy for cars? Sadly that Corvette was Jake. He was so cute.. and alive in the prologue.

So I looked up Lethal Injection, wasn't introduced till the late 70s, didn't start till the 80s. More specifically 1977-78 so I'm not sure if your cute Corvette Jake here was electrocuted or Lethal Injected...if it wasn't Texas then I believe it was electrocution. Owch!
