Tina couldn't believe she was stupid enough to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. For hours she waited in vain for a passing vehicle. As the sun started setting and the day's heat was turning to cold, she spotted out in the desert what appeared to be pair of riders on horseback. As they approached, she realized they weren't riders. She'd heard legends about wild taurs running around north central Arizona, but she didn't believe them until now. She fought her first instinct to run; if they meant harm, they'd only catch her anyway. Instead she waited and greeted them as they came closer. They weren't AAA and certainly weren’t carrying any spare gas, but maybe they could help...
