To commemorate with the annual #spooktober2021 or #apoctober2021 for some, I made the first Ghost-type Pokemon in Filo region, my own fakemon region based on the Philippines.

Meet Statboo, the replica Pokemon!

Statboo are creatures that dwell on things that people covet the most. Somehow, they saw the inclination of people towards worshipping statues or the man-made replica of the Gods they believe in and started to live inside them. It feeds the soul of those who touches the statue.

Statboo is based on the Filipino's inclination to worshipping statues of different saints, and Mew, who is one of those higher order Pokemon in the Pokemon world who was believed to be the ancestor of all Pokemon and carries their genes.
