I always liked that idea that Celestia is a little more reserved and introverted then Luna. Decided to see what I could do with that concept.ΒHope you all like it.Β

Yeah, I also think Celestia is more introverted and responsible that Luna; however, I imagine Luna very extroverted and careless about her duties (like in one of the official comics)

I'm pretty sure Luna was quite extroverted before the NMM events. Celestia just did her duty.
However, once NMM was banished, Celestia would definitely need to open up more and become the extrovert until Luna's return (so she doesn't have to be lonely).

One senses that part of what happened with Luna becoming "Nightmare Moon" was the result of her being socially isolated (not just in sense of her work being unappreciated but in the enforced separation from her subjects). Luna probably has a form of bipolar disorder (the same way Twilight is OCD/OCPD and Pinkie is schizophrenic or split-personality disorder), and that kind of social isolation not only aggravated her condition but prevented any attempt at treating it.Β The events of "Luna Eclipsed" doubtless helped with this problem, but it merely reflects the more general lowering of social barriers that would've been the REAL therapy.
