Hellsing is one of my favorite series, so I wanted to try out the characters. It was fun!EDIT 9/9/08: There were some major elements bugging me in this picture (like the lack of background), so I did some tweaking and reposted. Hope you enjoy the new copy!

Hmm, I usually enjoy abstract backgrounds - use a bajillion random textures and colors to give the entire piece a stronger ambience, and simultaneously avoid having to deal with perspective and lighting and technicalities xD

really nice coloring, very nice sense of shading.... but you took the colors from the old hellsing.... hmmm... i don't know how to respond to that..... seras's suit is yellow.... but i can't complain since the good anime hasn't come out yet... on the plus side its coming out finally the first episode next month. but other then that its a pleasure to see art from you. i just had to be nit picky

Holy GOOOOOD this picture is sweet!! The coloring is excellent--as is the lineart (but I've known that since Omaha)--and...and...nnnnn. Yes. Blood. This is amazing. GLOWY EYES. And the hands, I suddenly realize, are TOTALLY AWESOME OHHHH.
(Though I can't help but think of this regarding Alucard licking his gun: "Sometimes I like to pretend this is a real gun...*lick*" Ohhhh Lars. ...Okay, that quote was TOTALLY wrong, but you get the sentiment.)
(I'm also afraid I have no suggestions for a background...though I kinda agree with you...all I can think of is something dark. >_> I'm sure that's helpful.)
