Description
So, fun fact, in my spare time I've been working on a kid's fantasy series that's been rattling around in my noggin for a long time. Finally decided to start dabbling with writing it. And lo and behold, I'm rather enjoying myself! After I finish with the next Omega book, I think I'll revisit this idea seriously. My spin on dragonriders is a little... different. And seriously, Jaevid is adorable.Jaevid Broadfeather is a kid with an unfortunate past. He's the halfbreed son of a grey elf witch, living in the kingdom of Maldobar -- which has been at war with the grey elf nation of Luntharda for decades. Raised in a ghetto, bullied by his family members, and frowned upon by both humans and elves as a genetic mistake, he's really had no place to belong . . . until a chance encounter with a dragon changes his fate.

I really like this! You created a great back story for Jae. I'm writing a fantasy novel too, and I noticed that there were a lot of similarities between mine and yours (except, mine has less elves.)
In my story, the main character Eli is a bastard also, however I incorporated a lot of medieval/renaissance beliefs, where he is looked down upon for simply being born out of wedlock, not for being a half-breed. It all changes when a stranger comes and takes him on as an apprentice.
You were able to create a very relateable protagonist, and his narration makes the story even more interesting. Good work! I look forward to reading more!

I must say that the idea and style in this work are indeed quite magnificent. The story is entrancing and indeed pulled me deep within just like any other work of Bronte or J.K. Rowling.
