I got pissed at the world, so I drew feathers for like an hour. LIKE an hour. Like, totally like an hour. :iconthereisnoiconforhowstupidIamplz: Cuz I was a PonyGirl when I was little, so I have a box with over 500 feathers in it. It's like a bird exploded.I bet you can guess what all of those are from.

I can guess 5 of them. The long black one could be a raven's.The little blue one in the corner that of a blue jay, the tiny yellow one a goldfinch and large striped one could be that os a great horned owl and I have already founded the short black with white dots in my garden.

The black one's a crow, actually, but crow and raven are so close that I'd say you got it. XD The blue one is indeed a blue jay; the yellow's a chicken, actually (it's a bit oranger in real life. My camera sucks XD). The big stripey one is a redtail hawk feather - I made it a bit too fluffy. XD The black and white spotted one is a sapsucker feather.

At first I thought this was a photograph of a bunch of feathers.

Now, I may be odd, but I'm not odd enough to upend a vase of feathers and take a photo of them sitting on a white sheet of paper. XD
I always have wanted to pop a pillow off the top of a building on a windy day, though.

My mom didn't let me collect feathers when I was little, but I remember picking up some seagull and magpie feathers anyway.

My mom wasn't quite a nurse, but she did work at a hospital for years. I guess it made her flip over and become too careful unlike your mom.
(Your parents do seem to balance that fine line between good crazy and holy-crap-what crazy in a nice way.)
