your random mystery woman with shiny-blue-flame-thingyi could use some good words on thus one, because it was rejected as unfit in an art competition i visit every year (they wanted drawn art, not photo-manips, but didn't make that clear in their rules. i can accept that but it put me down a bit).

i think the way the model's dress trails out of the picture frame is a fantastic touch. it adds a great counterpoint to the whole thing. and the blue color/tinge is masterful.

Wow that's a really awesome photo-manipulation. It's interesting how you made her dress come off the picture like that. I really like the blue flame, how did you make it?
Also, are these stock photos or your own? I think they are really awesome and fit together perfectly.

thank you for your kind words.
yes, i took the pictures myself (both lake and foreground with model are infrared photos). i choose a very low angle to get the cloth perspective right.
the blue flame is a mixture from fire shots and long expore sparkles from new year. plus blending effects in photoshop of course

mhh .. maybe i'll post a walkthrough. i had to make step-by-step images for the contest anyway...

the model is a dear friend of mine. i shot all photos myself. that way i avoid pesky copyright business
