My version two of the Count from Gankutsuou. I wore this to Otakon 08 with a whole group of people~Costume and prop made by me

I used hair from the wig and glued it to some carved foam.

Hi where did you get the wig, i cant seem to find one that fits both in style or color and did you make the beard yourself?

The wig was made out of two wigs from ebay that I dyed and sewed together. Also yes, I made the beard from extra wefts of the wig.

anyways, another quick question - where did you get the fabric for the inside of the count's cape?? I've been looking everywhere in every fabric store nearby, but I can't find anything that fits the style and color even vaguely D:

Thanks! I found the base fabric at a fabric warehouse (SAS in Arizona), but I drew the pattern on photoshop and used iron-on transfers to get the actual design.

Oh and what exactly did you use for the makeup? I remember you mentioning Ben Nye brand, but did you use the f/x creams or color wheels? (what colors specifically)

For the Count I used matte makeup, I think it was literally called Clown series professional (or some combination of those words!) But I think the cake makeup is better (it's what I use now, but I've retired the Count so I never did a test run for him.)

Oh wow! I just finished the series and when I was browsing some photos I thought "Oh my goodness the anime was based off GREYFINCH!" Seriously though you brought this charater to life XD

I'm curious as to what color of ben nye you used. I used sky blue creme on my cosplay but it came out a little dark. It looks vur vur vur nice BTW.
