Description I was briefly in a guild called The Ultimate Army (Epic). Why I joined a guild with such a lame name I'll never know. They were such dumb-asses. They were very antagonistic of the other guilds in our Luxon alliance, acted like the immature 14 year olds that they were, and didn't really do anything. Very much an Epic Fail. I realized this early on, but was too lazy to quit, and thought that watching the guild crumble from the inside out would be fun. Which it eventually did. Dumb-asses. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Popcorn Dervish & Jake Val (both of whom are in this picture, with Will Greyhawk in the front). Guild Wars is property of ArenaNet and NCsoft.

lol. My latest guild failure was with a guild that claimed to be "active endgame PvE" whose guild leader then proceeded to throw a bitch fit about people not being social enough in guild chat and not saying hi to her every time she logged on. (I don't actually know the gender of the guild leader, but heh....) The alliance we were in was actually quite decent, but I couldn't stand the guild itself. Oh and the officers who sucked up to the leader.

So... I'm flying solo again! Guilds are always so much trouble especially the ones that recruit in town.. S:

Hey, if you know a way to not have to recruit in town, I'm all ears. Been a looong time since I was in Epic. Been hanging with the Raven Alliance for the last year and a half. Eventually got promoted to leader of one of the guilds not long ago. And its generally run by some cool people, so things work out. I've done that solo guild thing, for the first two years of playing GW. Not going back.

haha ~~

The guild I'm in right now, I joined because I did some HM missions with an officer from the guild and we talked and I ended up deciding to join. I like it when guilds recruit through "doing things," rather than fishing in town.

Solo guild thing? Like.. a one-member guild?

Yeah, pretty much. Me and a cape and an empty hall.
