Just working out some details on the LYX-3, air/space fighter that'll be in the next page of my Grey Project comic. The profile view still needs a little tweaking in the cockpit area, I think.

The little detail on the underside of the nose cone is a where the large caliber autocannon fires from. The ray gun looking things under the fuselage are ion cannon turrets. They track with targets designated in the pilot's head/helmet mounted display. It wasn't intentional, but I think I may have based them on Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker's arm guns from the original 80s Transformers cartoon.

In universe, this plane is supposed to be hypersonic. In reality, I suspect it would rip its wing tips off, if it got too close to mach 2.
