Life has dealt men many a bad hands since the beginning of time,
but few were as bad as the one I dealt Luckless Chester Dusk...
He never had any luck, which was a bad deal for a gambler.
Lost his eye in a knife fight, and all his money playing.

He owned me big and I never was the charitable type.
He said he would get me what was mine by that night, but he was late.
When I heard he was playing down at the saloon, I thought I would pay a visit.
His luck ran out, he played the Dead Man's Hand, a good hand, but a bad omen.
Let's just say he won the game, but lost his life...
But I got what he owned me, debt settled he had every cent on his person, unplayed...

That was years ago, I'm old and worn, but I still like to play a hand every once in a while.
As I enter the saloon I hear a someone in the corner ask for a game in a hollow voice that sounds like the wind...
I decide to oblige, but as I draw near the table, I freeze...

"I've been waiting for you" I hear him whisper in his thin voice, and I see his one eye, glowing in the dark...
"I'll deal this time" Chester said...
