"How cliche..." Yoana thought, as she looked back at the cliff barring their retreat, "Looks like we'll haf'ta take em'." She grunted.
"You always have the best of plans Yoana!" Elias said through his smirk. What the orcs lacked in tactics, they made up for in numbers and ferocity.
Yoana knew that their only chance was to stay sharp and keep keenly focused on the battle at hand. One small mistake would mean death. Perfection was their only option.

That day, two hundred and thirty orcs drew their final breath.

So, I almost didn't finish this piece. It actually is quiet old, and when I started it, I really didn't have the skill or insight to finish it. So I left it, with the intention of maybe revisiting it someday.
Anyhoo, looks like that day finally came.
I am happy that I did finish it. When I started it, I just had the concept of wanting to do a piece with a badass female Dwarf, and a smexy elf man, in the end, I really did grow to love the characters.
I really hope I make myself illustrate another one of their adventures someday. =]
