Description
"For sooth, verily!" - Mapel SitzrepMapel is a npc from a pen and paper rpg I ran for some friends in Numenera. She is extremely shy, and explosively violent, also, not that bright, but hard to trick.
She was a key part of my campaign and worked alongside the players as they explored a crazy ancient evil amusement park full of trans-humanist abominations from long ago.
She has only one eye, she carries a crossbow as tall as she is, and her best friend is Bellina Scarfid the doll, she tells Bellina all her secrets.
When one says to Bellina, "Oh Bellina, oh Bellina, how lovely you are." She responds to conversation for 3 sentences. If if someone doesn't talk to her, she cries.
I had no intention of ever posting this drawing here, but I had nothing to post this weekend, and TheArtForest told me i really should post her. =]
Looking at her again and thinking about how fun a character she was to play makes me want to draw her more though... XD

And yeah, she is pretty badass, but kinda stupid. XD
She pulled a tiny knife on one of the players before she knew them just because they made fun of her.
The totally could have killed her, and the crazy player in the group killed her friend and stuffed him in a laser trash compactor,
but she didn't care, she just played tea party with Bellina and some skeletons in spacesuits.
She also always speaks old timey, and says for sooth and verily as much as possible. also says, "I dost." Instead of I do. XD
She was such a fun character to play, and the players hated and loved her at the same time. XD

Well, that's one hell of an story. Imagine her all grown up, telling that to her grandchildren 'Oh, yeah, I remmeber that time I almost get killed. But I those skeletons in spacesuits had good taste on tea'

I would fight those guys, but with a carrot. So they don't attack me that much (?)

Well she would definitely tell those stories to her grandchildren if she could grow up...
Little secret, but that spider robot on her neck keeps her in stasis, she is actually about a hundred years old or so.
She doesn't know that though, because anytime she dies, the thing revives her and rebuilds her,
but doesn't really always do it right, every time it changes something by accident, and sometimes it dumps her memories.
That is the reason for her odd colored hair, part of her craziness, maybe her missing eye too.
I made her for a campaign of the pen and paper rpg Numenera.
It is a game set 9 billion years in the future, after 8 previous super civilizations have fallen.
So basically you in the ninth age and technology from the previous ages is all around,
the world is like a medieval fantasy world with sci fi stuff all around, so it is really fun and you can do all sorts of stuff.
You would be super fun to play this game with I think. =]

Love her story! It makes her a really interesting character, is like she is inmortal and indestructible (in the sense that doesn't matter what to do she get rebuild), but not so much. Also, I imagine the metting again with other characters 'But, I saw you die!'; 'Who are you?!'
Must be like a really bad hangover.
I used to play pen and paper rpg, too! I really liked it, because people tends to eliminate restrictions, so you can come up with anything REALLY crazy. Really liked that.
Now I really wonder how the world will be in 9 billons years.

Basically, as long as that spider thing is attached to her neck, it can rebuild her, and it starts rebuilding her the second she dies and it happens really fast.
The spider can only do that once per day though, so if you die twice in a day, then bad luck... XD
Definitely like the worst hangover ever, + some potential extra mental problems, or some issues with wrongly constructed dna.
Yeah that is what I love about rpgs too. I love being able to make up a character and get in there heads and explore possibilities.
It is so much fun, way more fun than the rules... XD
