Every now and then an artist will experience what you are experiencing with this piece. Most of them will tell you that they have no idea what it is about the particular piece that makes it so out of the ordinary. A few will have their theories about why. Like for instance, timing, subject matter, coloring, visual familiarity or something along those lines.Β
But, consumers are a fickle breed. One minute they will flock to this and the next minute they will flock to that leaving this lying in ruins of 15 minutes of fame.Β
However, there does exist a touchstone. A thing, whatever it is, that just takes off, something about it is universal and there will never ever be a figuring it out. It just "IS".Β
Do not get lost in the pipedream trying figure it out and break it down and trying to get the planets and the stars and the shadows from trees to align once again to create the same spark.
