I wanted to leave a comment on this when you posted it but was not feeling very well so I will comment now. This was breathtaking from the moment I saw it; I, at first glance, was unsure if it was a fine painting or photograph as it captures all of the greatness of a master impressionists canvas. It's soft watercolor palette overlaying rich pastel with a velvet like dark undertone is so striking with huge visual impact. It absolutely possesses a mysterious quality with its streetlamp warmed rain soaked walkway and the compression of a back alley passage. It makes you want to wander its length to in fact see what might be waiting!! I think this has to be one of my all time favorites of your work...it is marvelous on so many levels!!

I sometimes believe I may be an "overthinking" artist, but thanks very much for the compliment! Lol. I try very hard to have a reason for everything I do when creating a piece, and it is so nice for that to be seen and understood!
