And so it begins. Few things make a transformation more humiliating than having a dry play-by-play voice-over from someone you didn't consider a big enough threat to be your nemesis @_@

Actually, wouldn't that ensure that only the weak passed on their genes?

Really late reply, sorry (Ugh, RL Work @_@).

As for your (good) question, only the genes of the mail are passed on. The female isn't a co-equal partner in heredity for Magnum's race.

I see. That makes much more sense.

Umm.... point of order? I get that only the strong males can "widely spread" their seed. But if only defeated Zoans become female and contribute their half of the genetics to the offspring, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?

*laughs* Should have known you'd spot that. I though about that too, but look at it this way, because of the gestation/pregnancy, a Zoan with inferior genes would only be able to pass her genes on, barring twins etc., once every nine months or so. The superior Zoan male however, could pass his seed an exponentially greater number of times, potentially as many times as he has sex in nine months - which for a Zoan is A LOT.

Aaahhh Whatever. It's good B-movie science.

(Heh had to hover the cursor over that first emoticon to figure out what it meant ) Hopefully the next edition of the Science of Supervillains will have a chapter on TG transformation justifications (And I haven't read the first one yet, *sobs*)
