Once again, I'm joining other artists in providing artwork for another OCRemix project, this time Chrono Cross.I wanted to do something Mucha-inspired because you can never have enough Mucha.
I'll keep you guys posted on the project. In the meantime, back to the comic!

Mucha might have soften the colors and gone a few mor edegrees in the stylized design direction but this is an intriguing piece. Naturally it make you wonder what a DECK would look like with 52+ illustrations. Good work (and you can dance to it). Glad I pick you to watch! RICK

You're absolutely right. The colors might be a bit saturated for Mucha's taste.
I could potentially do a full deck, but it would take me a good while, so it's probably not happening any time soon, haha.

I have always "toyed" with decks. I love the concept. I think the most number of plates I ever produced toward an actual deck was twelve, in BW. Keeping the consistency is hard. Like this particular piece very much and Mucha is a personal favorite. My comment re: the color was not meant as insulting, just a Mucha-related criticism. I enjoy the piece as is and dig what you are going for with it. In reality, it might take a year for me to "do" a deck and make it ready for press. That is a looooooong time to devote to a project. Yet, this artwork screams to have siblings in a set of some kind. I am sure if I look at your gallery, you may have already produced a few companion pieces. I like this one very much. RICKΒ
