I somehow would think this is Aku in the future after Jack and Ashi return to kill him in the past..
He sits there, his body breaking up, as Jack's allies tear his tower to pieces... He realizes that everything he did to stop Jack was all for nothing...
He's now going to die, and he can't stop it...

In fact I would be surprised if he actually started crying as well... we've never seen him cry onscreen given his nature, but that last shot of him in the future implied he could have cried in fear if we stayed on him long enough...

I was so damn triggered over his death asdfghjkl seriously he was my favorite villain even 10+ years ago ;__;
I did see a post on tumblr tho about how they both won, Jack got to get to the past and live a normal life, and Aku continued to rule the world in his own alternate universe (something like that lol). Made me feel a little better about it.

To my mind there is no alternative timeline, but I hope that Aku still exists in Jack's original time, was not killed. So with this in mind I'm making his "come back" comics.
