Haha, thanks man! I think shoes can be a bit easier if you do a bare foot first... but then feet aren't that easy either...Β Β

There are angles were feet are sooo difficult to draw.
There was this girl i wanted to draw, she's looking back, kinda running, so one of her feet was towards me, but three quarters. 
I am going to be posting on dA again. I hadn't really intended to stop it. I was gonna upload every drawing at tumblr and what i liked the best at dA, instagram, twitter, but time hasn't really been on my side. Here at dA is where i've received less response. Guess that's why i've been leaving it for the last and ended up not uploading anything.
But i am going to upload.

Social media can be very variable. There was a year when i felt really noticed at twitter during inktober, the following year i barely got noticed.
For the moment nope, i feel i'm faster in traditional, but i do want to start doing digital again. 
By the way, you draw using a tablet, right? Do you use one of those pencils? Don't they scratch the screen? I used to use one, but after i put this screen protector it just needs a lot of pressure. It was then when i started finger-drawing. But i think that's what makes me slow. Wanted to try the apple pencil, but i find it very expensive!

Yeah, it can seem pretty random how much attention certain images get...
I got a cintiq a while ago so that's what I've been using for coloring recently but my tablet is a note so it has it's specific stylus. Has a kind of rubberized tip so no scratches
I got a cheap touchscreen laptop and an 'adonit mini' stylus to use with it. It's basically a stick with a disc at the end that replicates a fingertip. Might be good for an ios or android tablet but in windows it's pretty useless
Definitely think fingerpainting is a nightmare. Maybe it would be good if you take a photo of a drawing then finger paint in some simple watercolor style colors? I don't know, there are so many different ways to do things

I've seen some videos about drawing on cintiqs and it looks like it's awesome!
The hard part for me about fingerdrawing is doing long continuous lines that look good. Specially curves. I try and they look like those heart beat medical graphs!

Yeah, they're pretty great
I can imagine smooth, accurate lines being very tricky with fingers... to be honest, I think getting nice lines is pretty difficult regardless of the techniqueΒ Β

Oh yeah. It is amazing when i find one of those videos in youTube when an artists is inking a drawing and not only their lines are great, but also they are using one of those brush pens and their lines go from fine to thick so smoothly. Envy.Β Β Β
