That is a gratuitous and not very kind accusation, I'm afraid, and if anything quite untrue and potentially discouraging to the artist. Sure, there are similarities, but that's an unavoidable aspect of being an artist. Don't jump to such rash conclusions.

Hmm! Well, I must admit the two look similar, but I haven't been to your friend's page before, and I've actually never seen that adoptable before in my life. :T
I'd appreciate it if you inquired about things like this before you accuse me or anyone else like that, though. It's not very nice. I don't steal other peoples' art! It is, in my opinion, a despicable thing to do(as is any type of stealing or thievery), and I would never do that. :c

Here's some little critters I drew up for you. ^^

Some things you should know:
The one on the left is a species I came up with earlier today. I have yet to name them but just warning you I MIGHT make them an open species. The one I drew for you is a male but if you want me to I'll change it to be female. (There's anatomy differences)
The one on the right is something called a Praying Monstrich (Praying Mantis Ostrich Monster XD) that I came up with in like 7th grade. xD My character Leland is this and he's supposed to be one-of-a-kind but I wouldn't mind if there was one more Monstich in the world-especially if it belongs to you. ^^ In case it's hard to tell(which it probably is) His neck and legs are sort of snake-skin scaley, the purple things are....i dunno that insecty shell-like whatever xD and the rest is feathers. You can make this guy male or female.
