I usually paint down the first thing that comes to my mind, and as fast as possible, then it gets alot more like what i have in my mind to begin with :3
Not all art is embracing your dark side. I rarely draw anything that has to do with dark things x3 If you are thinking about the atmosphere, then yes its a foggy normal alittle bit creepy evning. And i dont see embracing your dark sides to be the same as religion. Religion is a belief. To me my "dark" sides arent belief.
