So that's how they do it.... Did you use Paint Tool Sai for this? Or a special Pixel Art tool? I must know /D

Photoshop x4 but you can do it in ms paint

50x50 xD then dragged them over to a bigger one to fit them all and rezised it with nearest neighbour setting

XD I can never sketch with the binary tool. I always have to do it with like the pencil took or whatever. (not sure what it's called in photoshop)

Yeeeeeeh these are useful *^*!! it's so precious how you detail gad o_o the details of the hair and the backleg are totally amazing. Do you use multiply/shade layers? or everything by hand?

everything is on the same layer, except first sketch xD, find the result to be better by choosing shading and all by hand
