because some people actually love art and the artists creativity. some people actually value their work and others work and are willing to pay that much to get something they value. That's how professional artists work...who make quality products. x3 but I guess if you dont want to consider yourself professional or ever make a living off of what you do. then yeah that is really stupid....but just so you know... character concepts sold to companies... are like...4000 dollars a revision...and there are many revisions. You just don't really value work or characters and that is fine. you can buy the ones for a dollar.

Well yeah, for commissions or the ever rare 'character designer' but for deviant adoptable, that's really quite ridiculous, for well, a ridiculous activity to begin with. I really really don't understand adoptables...

Just because the ones you have seen so far sell them for to little, does not mean that everyone else does xD people who actually draw as a job to get food on their table, and pay their bills and rent and does not live at home rarely sell drawings for 1$
