Lance and chubba kun
OKAY let me makes this clear for you out there.
You all know i have both anthro characters and quads, and they all go in the "furry" cathegory, BUT let me make this clear.
Anthro, they are just like humans, they act human, do what humans do, talk like them etc, NO they do not lick eatchother, run around in collors being all animalish. Just because they have an animal design doesnt make them less human, infact it wouldnt matter if i took away their animal colors, ears and tail, becaues they would still be the same xD , but i find it more fun to draw them like this
Quads, THEY LOOK like animals because they are, they act like animals skdjfgdksg THEY dont walk around with epic backgroundstories on how they feel and how emo they are, they just exist, feeding, pooping, sleeping, and crave attention like any other pets etc. They just act like the animals they are, doing weird things, they dont collect stamps or have an ipod lol, if they wear some shit its because someone put it on them xD

I agree with you on that much because they are your characters and I can't really argue about what they are nor is it right for me to lump your characters in the same category as many others or mine.
You made a very good point about defending your anthros. It pretty much supports the idea that "our anthro/furries are different" I was planning on making a detailed comic explaining what I meant rather than making a picture about it and then explaining it all in the artist's comments, because I feel that making the comic will make a bigger explanation and attention grabber than just a big picture. Meaning: That if your anthros are meant to be humans then fine; if your anthros are meant to be animals then fine; if your anthros are neither an animal nor a human and some sort of different being all together then fine; but don't go lumping my, or anybody else's, characters in the same category as yours until you get the "okay" from me or the creator of these characters. This is pretty much the gist of what I have to explain in my comic, but that might take awhile.

i really respect you for being able to draw humans, anthros, quads and w/e and being able to make really interesting and well-designed characters whatever they are
some people either try to hard to stand out or just dont make their characters interesting at all :C

I'm that way with my Curs (a species of genetically modified animals that exert human-like intelligence)
The can talk.... sorta.... and stand on 2 legs or all four. They were modified from cougars, so they resemble them. They are much more animal than human however when it comes to body structure. They still purr like cats (yes, a cougar is NOT a big cat) and they have a very difficult time speaking English. But because the Curs were of American creation, most of them speak the language they learn, just like humans. They can't just communicate with animals. They do have extremely heightened senses, and have a difficult time understanding human expressions and things like humor. They were originally intended to replace soldiers during World War 3, (Think about it. A predator that can think on it's feet consciously.) They were not quite finished with them, because they wouldn't take orders, so they created a few that had more human like brains. This was a mistake, as they were smart enough to get the attention of the public and be set free, as it was 'inhumane' to keep them as test subjects. They were sent to the streets, some of them that were more animal like set up small villages in the wilderness, or simply roamed alone, looking for food. A number of them attempted to fit into society, those that were the most human like. They were given no rights however, and the public feared them. I have a story that revolves around two that are fighting for rights, claiming that humans gave them a voice, but won't let them use it. They have to live as illegal immigrants essentially, because they don't have the right to own property cannot enter hardly any building, because they are 'simply animals'. Though it was the public that set them free, they have to struggle with discrimination, hatred, and fear from the masses. And of coarse, sometimes the animal in them can cause them trouble. They did however, manage to find an apartment were they were able to stay, as long as they had the money. They both found refuse in the entertainment industry, and manged to find a couple of fascinated collage students to be on their side. To assist in the fight for freedom, and simply the struggles of trying to live in a world they essentially don't belong. Then there are the 'wild ones' trying to temp them away from the humans, and take superiority, instead of living in harmony. The outlook so far, seems that only one sentient being can exist at a time.

I also spent most of the night working on the anatomy and the skeleton. I'll touch it up a little bit and probably have it in a couple of hours. This thing is REAL. I even got the latin for the genus correct.
