Decided to finally do something new, been very quiet in my tank for a really long time. But yesterday I got black gravel, and 15 new Lampeye killifish which is my personal favourite fish!!
I only want them, but I do have some firehead and cardinal tetras from my older tanks still around, and since they are only around 9 each they are to small of a number to give back to the fishstore, so they will keep living their lives out in this tank ^^Β but I love watching the lampeyes school!!! its so pretty ahhhhhhhhhhhh wish i could take a photo of it in action haha. you can see them in the top corner.
ALL the fish in this picture is at the left lmao, you have almost 30 gallons D8< why u only one side
you also see two of my black snails.Β
had to cut the plant in the middle, it keeps growing out of the tank >.< would have had a open tank if it wasnt for the lampeye being jumpers

D'aww nice tank!!
I used to have this swell little salt water tank with shrimp, snails, some clowns and a royal gamma. We also had a wonderful array of anemones! They were all such a delight to have, but we kept having darn aiptasia outbreaks tho. Only good part of the aiptasia was that it was the reason we got our sweet little peppermint shrimpadoodles!

Maybe the reason they're all one that one side is because they just like how the plants are bunched up in the corner like that? I would ask if your water temp is balanced throughout, but I'm fairly sure you've got all that taken care of considering how much of an aqua farmer you are XD

Love the tank! I personally have 4 tanks, but my 50g is the one that's got a bunch of plants (it's been growing since the early 2000s) because all my others just got started last month (a 20g with two separated bettas, then a 10g with shrimp and two tetras but we may switch to mini rasboras since we've had 8 tetras die on us 
Also love how they're only occupying one corner.

Dad said they were just far too inbred (we got them from petco) and that it wasn't anything I was doing wrong. My water levels all tested out perfectly. I'm pretty sure that the tetras may have eaten my blue velvet shrimp though, which is slightly upsetting considering I loved my little blue shrimps |D

I have ghost shrimp, but dad wants crystal reds. My blue velvets disappeared as well, I'm not sure what happened honestly. Have you checked your filter? It could be that?...Β
Mine wasn't due to my filter, so I have... no ideas about mine :c

Gosh I really really like your fishtank! I am having a hard time finding plants that like it in my tank OTL
We had the long one that looks like seaweed (the one you have at the right) but it kept rotting and I think our fishes nibbled on them? LOL
So far we have only found one plant that survives, we also got some Bichirs now as well, and they like to nibble on plants as well!Β
ALSO I really love Killifishes, they are super super cute. Never had them but I really adore them!! I bet they love it there in your tank! <3

yeah that plant gets eaten by almost anything!! >.< had a really long one a while ago and decided to get some big snails xD one day and entire thing was gone. so I had to move them in another tank.
Hmmm maybe check this list oiut?Β badmanstropicalfish.com/plant_β¦ no idea how you test for some of these things, maybe ask in the fishsstore.
I also had a lot of problems with some plants not making it,and i never figured out why xD because i never bought them again haha

Yeah I have the exact same problem as you LOL I even asked in the petstore and they just.. didn't know I: Β and I didn't know? The water was fine. But the plant just kept rotting..
BUT we do at least have one plant that likes it in our tank! So we have a few of them here and there. Like you can see in the pic below!

8D buy them from somsone who breeds them, I found mine online on a norwegian sale and buy site. Might be in your country to I dont know what it would be called though xD
