Description
The views under are my views and are not there to be forced upon you in anyway. So no reason to get offended or angry. And ignore typosI wanted to share my views on how disgusted I get when I read the news about people getting happy over someones death.
People dying no matter what crime they did, is NOT something to celebrate and be happy about. What good is it to kill another being just because you hate them?
I wonder how many leaders need to die until whoever is behind it is satisfied. Im horrified about how much impact the media can have and lie to us and make us believe it. Obama promised to take every solder out of the wars. Why havent this happened? They keep blaiming terrorists for being able to stay in certain countries.
[link] A video about Libya and some other things.
Does this mean norwegian police should check every car and walk around heavily armed just because we had a terror attack? No. Norwegian police didnt even change how they are even after. We didnt start living in fear and banned everything the terrorist used or liked.
Living in fear from the worst thing that could happen, is not living at all. It creates chaos and hate among people. And fear is the easiest thing to control.
We are slowly being driven appart from eachother, we hate eachother more than ever. Stand up for yourself and stop letting others control your thoughts or life.
So take a moment from time to time and show the ones you love even more love, try to help others and chill down your hate toward things you do not like and focus on what you do like.
A personal experience I often came across was, If I focused on the things I hated or disliked, that is what I saw the most of. As soon as I changed my mindset to think diffrently, so did the things around me. Your mind is stronger than you think.
Hopefully one day there will be a change for the better. Humans waste to much of their time on what they hate instead of what they love. Just sit down and think about all the times you complain to someone, or on someones look/page/life/actions, or how often you just have to tell how much you hate this or that?
I did that so much, I still do it often, but ive almost stopped doing it to people who has no use for it or will be affected by it negatively. I do it for fun most of the time, never anything serious. I dont have the need to go watch things I hate, or go look at things I dislike and let everyone know how much I do so. I wont gain anything nice from it at all.
But we all are the person we choose to be and are allowed to be the way we want even if we do things or like things other dislike. Thats just how we are. Right and wrong is all relative to who sees it.
Im not targeting anyone, im just putting my idea out there.
Peace out bros.

I agree, religion, ethnic backgrounds, ways of thinking, race; none of it matters. Right and wrong is only a perspective. We don't need to go to church, follow certain laws, or do any of that to find peace. All we need to do is open our hearts and start loving each other like we're supposed to. We need to live free and be ignorant of our differences. Religion, politics, countries, and many other Earthly things have kept us from doing this. What God really wants us to do, is to live free of these bonds and open our hearts and minds to each other.

This is just beutiful, and it's true we are all connected, even thought it is not physically visible like it movies with the special effects, but mentally and spiritually we are all connected.
We must work together in this world or no one will want to live here. And I can't be the only one who thinks this.
Let's stop hating each other and get along...

It's really interesting how humans are devolving all because of a bunch of lies, it concerns me that people would act this way, just because of those lies.
A death is a death, no matter how big; for some reason, it reminds me of Horton the Elephant's words, something along the lines of, "a person's a person," which seems applicable to these type of situations. All because of different views/biases/etc., the world turns on itself. It's nothing to be happy about.
May peace be with everyone.

I thought it was really savage how they beat the crap out of Gadhaffi before they shot him...
I honestly don't feel "sad" or anything over his death, but they if they had to execute him they should of just humanly killed him and not put the freaking body on display for people to deface.

I personally believe that you have the right to be relieved that someone has died if they were a threat to you. However, the "USA!!!" chants over Osama's death has horrific in my eyes, as well as in the eyes of my classmates. Older generations teach and pass down such hate down to us, they become the scary ones. How can we find peace if all we are taught is to fear and hate? Living in an international environment with a diverse set of beliefs and opinions has made me learn that no one is absolutely right. There is no good and evil, there is only what are minds make of a situation. There is only the winner and the loser. The winner is the 'good' and gets to write down the history.
Adolf Hitler may of been a tyrant at one point, but does anyone care that he managed to rebuild Germany? Nope.

Nice painting and true words! Unfortunately most often it seems to be easier to hate than to love ( I catch myself at that too more frequently than I wish). Maybe we even subconciously wait for a chance to hate something , but as you said if you start to be aware of your hate and change your mindset your surrounding will change as well.
It sounds easy but it's hard to be always concious of your emotions.

The title reminds me of the verse from "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas*. I love the song and the movie. Did you get inspiration from the song?
* because I misspell words, names and places a lot. So did I spell the title right?

I love you so much for this
We were actually having a similar conversation in my English class, (we were reading 1984) and I brought up how horrible it was that people celebrated other people dying, and then a whole bunch of my classmates were like "but we had a right too blablabla" and trying to justify it, and I was really disgusted...

What a great picture and full of truth... You are really right, the humans prefer to waste their time in hate not in love But... I think as long the money will rule the world, they humans cant live in peace and love
Well, not everyone is power-hungry, but I think money and power are our biggest enemies..., sorry for the bad english, but I hope you unterstand my comment ^^

This is an amazing piece. You also make a wonderful point - there is no use in wasting away our lives in fear, celebrating the death of who we deem an enemy. I, personally, do not believe in a death sentence for a crime. Two wrongs do not make a right; another murder does not fix murder.

Wow I'm really happy there are so many other people who also think that way. Like with this Khadaffi stuff, when I read the newspaper about how it happened and how happy people were about it... It just makes me a little sick.. Sure he did really bad things but I almost can't believe that people could be so happy about killing anybody. It's a new start for Libya, but it is not a good start. You have to wonder, can you actually build a good new start on a thing like this?
But it's good to know that some people still care.
And I totally love your drawing btw, when I saw the title I thought it had something to do with pocahontas, because I like just listened to that song not 5 minutes ago xD

The thing is theres always going to be some really bad person out there so going into a country and causing great devastation in order to liberate them is only a tempory 'solution' if you can even call it that. Whos going to step up and take the place of the leaders that are killed anyway? A different person with the same beliefs? Any country liberated in this way is at risk of falling into the exact same situation and military presence there isnt solving it. Im not saying I have a solution myself but this certainly cant be it. As nice as it would be to say "Well how about everyone just loves each other and gets along?" thats not gonna happen through military action <_<

I understand and agree with everything you said after the line on celebrating a bad persons death and agree with it.
But only in a perfect world should we never be happy about a horrible persons death. And it doesn't happen often but still.
Now I don't really know much about Gadafi (I bet I didn't spell that right... herp) But I know people were happy when Osama was killed, and I was too. And I thought that we honestly should be, ... he was just such an empty shell of a human being, he brainwashed people into being terrorists and had them all do his dirty work. He had no empathy no nothing... and killed a ton of people. He was sickening. And killing him got rid of that.
And really I don't believe that any person who's done something horrible should die, or if they do I don't believe that we should be happy about it... as long as they have emotion, regret, want to change or anything like that... but if they don't,
They're just a shell and I don't care either way... even if I don't hate them... if they're a shell, I don't care.
