I won't go in to detail on how the big bang theory is not a direct attack on creationism. Although some people treat it that way. Many people who believe in the Big Bang and Evolution (the main Scientific things considered against religion) are actually religious and believe in them together. I agree with everything except the creationists and the intelligent design. I'm saying that some people are crazy in love with the bible, but the fact is: you don't know how the world was created. It just says it was created in seven days in God's term. Seven days could be seven soconds or seven thousand years. He could've used the big bang theory to create the universe. Nobody knows. And yes mutations do occur, and yes evolution happens. But that never happened with people. We were created in God's image, but because Adam and Eve sinned, we have to die. Because people have sinned, mutantions in people's looks and emtions have occured. And no, Christianity ISN'T the only religion on this planet, but as a follower of any religion, your duty is to spread the word of what you believe and get others to believe it as well. But the thing with the bible is, it's hard to say that it isn't true, because...John I think... (one of Jesus's desciples) was very detailed in writing his part of the bible. He was very factual and cared alot about the little things. It's hard to argue with the bible because John wrote in actual important events in history, so he gave you an idea about what was happening at the time.
I'm not trying to be rude or convert you, and I know this was just to get your hate out and that you're not like this when people do talk about it, but i'm just putting this out there so that you know that not every christain is like that, and also so you know a little bit more about the other side, so you don't offend anyone or so that you don't judge a book by it's cover neccesairly.
