I think it's very cool how you completely capture the flamingo in just a relative few pencil-strokes--that one facing us is a different point of view than we usually see of them! I wonder--did you do all these zoo sketches on the spot?

i've actually always had a hard time drawing birds. drawing them enough helps me get the gist of it. but in the end, i always have to put myself through drills before a parrot looks like a parrot, each and every time

Its hard to find artists who draw birds, you do them very well. Oneday I think you should do a bird tutorial. For the peeps who fail at birds (such as myself) lol.

Birds are actually very simple, their shape and everything is what is important ^^ so try and practice that, by sketching the shapes you see. there are a lot of good bird turotials already if yoiu search them up :3
