Nice improvement. Sometimes there was a great idea you for a drawing, but maybe it wasn't quite there. Going back later can help fill out the idea. I find a lot of inspiration when looking at my old art.

you've improved lots! especially on the facial structure of your characters, and anatomy in general
Your coloring is of course awesomesause, yet the old one looks pixelated, was it supposed to be pixel art, was it done with a mouse or what?
I think one of the biggest differences (the biggest being anatomy) is your attention to detail
and now you use a more saturated/bright color palette, so everything looks more cheerful!

I always drew with pixelish lines because i used oekaki bbs to draw with. x3 it took a few years online before i started using brush tools.
