Not if they are real feathers, they connect and wont rip unless you arent carefull xD but its smart to paint a layer first and then let it dry before painting more

um I think its called liquilex basics matt, they arent very expensive xD because i only need black and white, cyan,magenta and yellow. I make all my colors from those

you need to be more carefull, did you paint on a real feather or a fake one? because fake feathers doesnt connect to the tiny strands x3

maybe it depends on some factors, xD I dont think i would be able to paint cartoony on feathers, and besides i would have to ship them and all, so at the moment I wouldnt be able to because im going away for 3 weeks
