Man! You nailed Questar, Serena a Krulos... the brain-boxed t-rex looks amazing too - I like how the side cannons look like bunkers... the Rulons, along with the Valorians, were always so exposed during battle XD

The two Valorians in the pic are Questar, their leader and Guardian of the STEP Crystal, and Serena, their resident empath and healer.
The ugly awesome looking gentleman in the middle I believe is the Ruleon Emperor Krulos.
And you say these look bad, HELLS NO, that Krulos looks like he radiates evil. My only complaint is that Questar looks a bit too young, otherwise, TOP NOTCH work.

*smerk* Well, perhaps when you do get the huntch to draw Dino-Riders why not do the Triceratops - I think that is a 'Fav among the series

I loved it when I was a kid, but going back as an adult and watching the shows, the scripts were bad, the dialogue cliched and dul, they had a serious scale issue (I mean, T Rex was the worst for this. One shot he would be moving through a forest, underneath the canopy, and the very next shot he was towering above it! The trees only came up to his fugging knees!).
One thing that bugged me even as a child was the mixing of dinos from different eras that would have never interacted. l mean they had T Rex,who only came into existence 5 million years before the end of the Cretaceous, with Diplodocus, a Jurassic sauropod, and Dimetrodons. Dimetrodons! Who weren't even dinosaurs, and died out before the end of the Permian period, several million years before the dinosaurs even existed!
I know the show was only a vehicle for selling toys, but transformers managed to produce quality scripts. Why did they have to get so lazy.
Be assured that these are affectionate gripes, and I still have all my toys, and now my son has fun playing with them and watches the show.
But great picture, really evokes a sense of nostalgia.

You know, I think I only ever saw the two episodes they released on VHS, but I had a ton of the toys. Fun nostalgia trip though.
