So its weird how things end up sometimes. I was watching this movie called Abominable,which I highly recommend if you like a good "Bigfoot" movie. I was sketching and of course could not help but do one of a big furry ape like creature. I liked how my rough sketch came out so I thought I would paint it up. Well I was finding myself enjoying this piece more and more and really decided to push myself and see how detailed I could get this. God-Damn Grimmy! If anything so gruesome can be called beautiful, it's this! This is, if you'll pardon my use of such a nancy-boy word, splendid. I can see the love you put into this. The detail, the light, the texture of the hair and skin and teeth, it's all top-notch! I've never seen a skunk-ape look so good!

I love those pieces that quitetly draw us in, then capture us so deeply that we can't break free til we have completed it.
The charicaturistic nature you've captured is what gives this beast the ferocity he deserves. His twisted expression is too bad ass for words. I just love his teeth. DAMN, do I love the teeth.

Well actually I've never seen it either- my Dad was telling me about it, he said Jason Lee was really good in it but otherwise it was just average. He's not as into sasquatches as I am, though.
