Welcome to my little corner here at DA! This is my one of a kind miniature Steampunk Vacuum Cleaner. A curious machine guaranteed to delight any tiny domestic diva. The contraption is in 1:12 dollhouse scale, measuring 3 ¾” tall and 1 1/8” wide at the base.

The vacuum base and handle are solid metal, altered with vintage gears and findings. There is a small steam stack, a chunky motor, an iridescent ‘light’, buttons and toggles. A cloth vacuum bag is attached to two hoops on the handle. These tech elements feature Victorian filigree and flur-de-lis designs. Steampunk is a blending of the archaic and elegant. I painted it in pewter and brass with ink for an aged effect.
