I've already added these to my favorites. I revisted them today and I had to comment on how much love for detail went into this. I wish I had the patience (I would take longer then 3 hours).
The tutorial is easy to follow and allows personal preference on how much detail one might want to add. I absolutly love the colors and the side joke about your food.
In sum: great tutorial!

Thank you for this amazing tutorial! It's amazing to see your way of doing things :3
I love how you put detail in the foreground but let the background remain less detailed, it's interesting!

I'm going to start a painting based on this awesome tutorial, and I have one question: So, I'm pretty new to watercolours, okay very new , and I was wondering how you make the shadows?? Do you just use black paint with lots of water? Thank you in advance

GrimDreamArt In reply to theantist [2014-09-08 06:06:39 +0000 UTC]
I usually use the same colors for shadows and sunlit parts but watercolors for shadows are more intense (less diluted) and I often add just a little bit of violet, dark blue or black to it.

wow, this is really helpful...gave me an idea where to start 'coz seriously, it's the first step that makes or breaks an architectural drawing right? love the sense of humor too...you're really cool

Indeed the composition of blocks with setting vanishing points is crucial. I'm really glad that you like this tutorial

Very nice. Do you use instruments like rulers and protractors to help you draw straight lines and angles in your drawings?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
GrimDreamArt In reply to TheTeacherOfPresence [2013-05-19 12:05:06 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! I don't use any tools to draw straight lines(probably that's why some of lines in my pictures aren't straight ). I definitely prefer freehand drawing.
