Julia St. Cloud dispatches another vampire via decapitation. She discovered this nest of female vampires posing as submissive housewives in a generally idyllic Stepford, Connecticut neighborhood. In this particular case she received some help from a local playwright, Ira Levin, who said he would write about the incident but since no one would believe in vampires he would use robots instead.
