You honor me but I can't take all the credit you should check out the two who did these for me splatpixel.deviantart.com and CallofTheDeep I wrote the story and the two artist were able to turn my story into a reality. When I get a digital art tablet I plan on making more scenes from the story I really want to get back into drawing again if you want to know the story behind this scene let me know P.S. Sorry it's been a while work has kept me busy, this may be long The Masquerade takes place shortly after Raziel and Ayluin's 50 year long reunion Ayliun has heard rumors about a noble trying to copy the ritual done to her 50 years ago and want's to put a stop to it. The noble is having a masquerade party as a disguise to find candidates for the ritual Ayluin knowing that she can't do this alone asks Raziel for help for when going into a den of monsters one must bring a monster. Once they enter they hear the music play setting the mood www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUNOfN… but all faces hide behind masks finding their target will be hard so after what felt like an eternity once the music roars as if it enhanced Raziel's senses spots his prey stalking closer like a lion stops midway. For his prey is guarded he retreats back to Ayluin with news knowing they can't walk up to him Ayluin tries comes up with a plan they must make a scene to draw attention to away from him "but how" she thought.......Raziel looks into her eyes and say's "let us dance our worries away the plan comes after we are at a Masquerade let us not waste it". Ayluin is puzzled by his words but feels there is plan behind them she is reluctant at first but accepts if only she could see the smile under Raziels mask for him this is the when the real hunt begins. I am honored Raziel and Ayluin are my two characters from my book I am currently writing (The Cursed Soul Chronicles) Raziel first started out as a D&D character. The book focuses on Raziel who is a half Vampire and Dark Elf blood mage/assassin age over 700 and Ayluin who is a Wood elf thief/mage age 131 the two meet when Raziel is sent to kill a sadistic noble scientist who was performing magic experiments on his slaves. Ayluin is the unlucky one who is forced to open a crack to the unknown realms she makes a deal with a entity that promises to end her suffering and give her power, but she was not the only one to hear that voice for it made the remaining slaves and scientist go mad and start killing each other. It is at this moment Raziel enters the lab the only choice to be made is to force the crack closed and kill every one who has gone mad Ayluin watches as Raziel kills the only friends she ever had (slaves) and is horrified by the sight of Raziel thinking him to be the entity she made the deal with she breaks down and is engulfed by flames and quickly burns everything around her and passes out. Shielding himself from the flames Raziel slowly rises out from the ashes and finds Ayluin unconscious and unharmed he raises his blade to kill her but for the first time in his life he hesitates he notices the smoke coming off her body soon the flames will engulf her and everything around her so he places magic runes on her body to keep the magic at bay. The Masquerade takes place 50 years down the road where they meet Ayliun has become a formidable thief and mage and at first haunts and torments Raziel for the acts he committed that night at this point she knows he was not the entity that she made the deal with but still hates him for what he did but as time passes she starts to pity him and is drawn to him at first she hated him but she sees that he is a man in a infinite loop of pain and suffering as they travel together she slowly starts falling for him.
