yeah this is the violator from spawn (doesn't that sound like some very nasty sex toy or something?)though i'm not exactly some fan of spawn (not that i hate it...i just don't know anything about it at all...i did buy those comics that ashley wood illustrated but only for the art and not the story)...so i know that this is some demon...monster...thing...i got the idea to do some studies because of a quiz i took that told me i was a super villain and listed some other super villains including the violator. i just HAD to know what it was so i looked it up. i just took shots people snapped of their figurines from mcfarlane toys and did a quick pencil study. more to come with this guy...i like his anatomy i'd like to do a full version with angles and positionings i did myself. high detail in pencil...if you just pretend i was only doing the face...this face is only half done if that...
this guy is Β©todd mcfarlane and spawn, etc...he's not my character at all...don't praise me for the design.

Ok, I wont praise you for the design because I used to be a major collector of Spawn comics so I know the Violator pretty well. He would be very pleased to be used in a reference to a sex toy, me thinks! I will praise you for your line work and detail! That obviously took some time and loving care.
Ya gotta feel bad for the poor demon though since he tends to unwittingly sabotage himself when he's trying to impress the big boss Malebolgia. It's one of the reasons why he's often stuck as a short, dumpy clown.

ahhh....the awsome power of the Violator. one of my favorite villans...all powerful and has his dumb moments...as he said in the movie..or as his conter part said "unlike angels we are not perfect...we're demons...we fuck up......" love the drawing..i've got something like it..."inner self" check it out if ya want

Well, I love spawn ( for the art, not the plot). The dialogue sucks ass so you have to just look at the pretty pictures. And I would have to say that you did a great job of stetching this. The violator is an evil fucker and you captured that pretty well.
I was just about to do a Spawn drawing too so you better check it out.
