Dragon Ball was better then Dragon Ball Z, and Gurren Lagann is better then Dragon Ball!

No we don't, the fights were way too long (20 episodes, seriously??) and that made the series boring for me.

You can check out Dragonball Kai if you want, it's a shortened no-filler/less yelling DBZ.
Be warned though, it's censored and doesn't cover the Buu saga...

Kai was the one I watched (since it was shorter as you said + LESS yelling?? o_O) if I had chosen to watch Z and even if it was 1000 times better than Kai, like several people have told me, I probably would have dropped it.

Basically a summary of the entire show.
Dragon Ball was much much better in my opinion. I mean I love some parts of Dragon Ball Z, especially Piccolos transition into a good guy, but the whole space alien thing kinda ruined what the original dragon ball was all about!

I love DB and DBZ equally, to be honest. GT was a letdown, though...

Same here. Dragon Ball supplied us adventure and comedy, Dragon Ball Z supplied us action and epic screaming with long stories and Dragon Ball GT supplied us a mix between the two and ended up disappointing fans including myself.
