's character La Llorona.Pencils soon to be inked. It's a little messy, but it will work for inking. The broken column and bust in the background are meant to be somewhat obscured in shadow and not as bright as they seem.
Now off to sleep...

Such an awesome scene...forgive my drooling. The intensity is simply mindblowing. The shadow treatment is incredible and I especially love the anatomic feature, the dress and it's fold and the hair. The scratch on the stone are a great detail and the girl in the shadow adds a mysterious touch to your scene

That image is just aching for some black ink. I'm by no means criticizing what you have done here as it is excellent, but if it was me doing it, I would add some other subtle stone features to create the sense of intricate stonework behind the statue. Just a couple of small decorative alcoves possibly to determine the bust is part of some larger decorative masonary. That doesn't mean I'm right, it's just what I would do. I know you will make it work.

Thanks. That bust and alcove do just seem to be hanging mid-air don't they? I really should attach them to something when I apply the inks. Ahh, the wonders of digital inking.

It doesn't even have to be anything majorly elaborate beyond what you have done. Just a few stone relief type patterns to create the illusion of complex stonework. You know what I mean.
Or at the very least, suggest a few cracks in the bust to imply that it's stone. Still, you know what you are doing. Whatever you do, it's great art. Looking forward to the grand finish.
