There are many theories on the causes of the Apocalypse. Some believe a Zombie infestation will bring about the end, others believe in an environmental collapse like Global Warming. And maybe that is true, in some reality, in an alternate plane. But not this one. Not on Earth-2. On this plane, the Apocalypse starts off very differently. No one knows what caused it, only that it happened overnight. One day, when the world was asleep, the minds of mankind grew corrupt. Man only had one thing on their mind: women were born to be slaves.

The Crime Boss waited patiently in the living room of his rival, surrounded by his men, all their weapons pointed at all his rival’s best men. The Apocalypse had affected even their lives, but business continued mostly normal. These two organizations had been at war for years before even the start of the Apocalypse, and the end of the world has only increased those tensions.

It was rare for two crime bosses to meet face to face. The risks were too great. But for a discussion on the future of a drug rumored to allow men to steal claimed women from their masters, the risks were too great for them not to meet. Apparently, word got out that disproved those rumors, and neither of these crime bosses could afford the monetary losses that would surely follow.

They strategized together, the first time since their organizations split, and for a moment, many in that room believed they could come to an agreement. One boss wanted to offer a rebranding, claim that the drug was a failed experiment and had now been perfected and reborn into a new drug. He even offered a sample of his new product, though did not know if it worked or not. The host, however, had changed his mind, and wanted to abandon the project altogether, believing the technology too dangerous in an already corrupt world. They knew that alone, neither of their plans would succeed. The people were too confused and still adjusting to the new world, and likely would never leave their comfort. So they believed.

So by the end, the inevitable happened. They could not agree. The host dismissed his guests, and all weapons lowered. Though disappointed, the guest crime boss left without resistance. However, on his way out, he caught sight of her. A true beauty. Was he the boss’ daughter or slave? If so, no wonder he wanted to cancel the project. And if she was a slave, there was only one thing to.

The guest returned to meet the host, guns blazing. He held tightly onto the girl, smiling wickedly, staring into the eyes of the host, while their men fought. “I see why you wanted to cancel the project,” he shouted over the gunfire. “Who wouldn’t want to risk losing this hot piece of ass?”

The girl plastered a look of pure horror as blood shed around her. The guest pushed her closer to the host, if but only to allow her one last moment of happiness and hope before shattering it forever. The host went for his own weapon, but the guest’s already drawn rifle quickly drilled bullets into his skull. The girl screamed, muffled by the hands of the guest boss. The fight ended as quickly as it started, the surprise overcoming the host’s forces until none were left. “Follow me, slave,” the living crime boss commanded the girl.

They left the bodies where they lay and departed the scene.
