Here's 's character Fiend. I really wanted to draw him for awhile. Wanted to give him the Mr. Burns pose with the fingers but didn't get them right. Also was kinda hard doing his suit, I'm not used to do clothes much ^^,. Anyway enjoy.Edit:

I almost forgot. Even tho it's not Kiva, that usually goes to the front page for a reason but if it does go to the front page, please keep your "Why is this on the front page?" and insults to yourself if you don't like it.

stupid da and their glitches, they shoulda tested it first before installing the stupid upgrade, anyways, i dont know about these ppl, but i clearly see problems here, the line art is great! awesome job on that, but the clothes look wrong, thereslines that shouldnt be there, and his thighs look a bit funny, and theres lines on hi neck that dont look right either,
thats all im saying, and its hard for me to kinda explain, so yah, but its alright, im not so great with clothes either. :\

Thanx. Yeah, i can't say much about the clothes because i'm not used to do clothing much, more when it comes with suits. The thighs do look a bit funny tho i was making sure that i didn't make them skinny the legs because he's a big guy with large muscles.

What a mess. Not your image, the situation. In fact, I think this is a pretty nice piece of lineart. It's clean, stylized, and got some attitude attatched to it. I like that.
I certainly hope dA will fix the glitch, or change the system, or whatever the hell it is that's different with the new system. It's not fair that artists are getting bashed and blamed for being on the front page. They're not doing any kind of good by being jerks about it and flaming you and others. If they really wanted to do something, they'd note their friendly neighborhood admin, or perhaps, do something even more constructive and community-minded by leaving a polite critique. If they have issues with the piece, perhaps leaving a note to the effect of "I like this and that, but I think ______ is a rough area and could use some work."
In the meantime, keep your chin up, and don't worry about the trolls. One of these days maybe they'll learn that courtesy will get them farther than snobbish muck-slinging.

God people are so mean. ): Congrats on making the front page, I think it looks great. I agree with whoever it was who said it would look even more awesome colored. He's got an attitude, I love it. ^^ The pose and face are great. The folds on the clothes are a little unnatural, but you've definatley got a great picture here.

Thank you. Yeah i know that with some colour it would look really awesome. The clothing was the hard part because i never draw suits or clothes without being to tight or being stick to the body, if you know what i mean ^^,. Still glad you like it.

and if you don't want nasty comments on your pics, you can keep them off the front page by scrapping them and then re-editting the category when it's been 24 hours.
Otherwise deal with it. Your art is getting a lot more exposure than it should for no particular reason, and you have the nerve to complain about it?

One shouldnt have to throw it in the scraps not knowing it will make the front page, she cant take it off the front page without having to delete it...too much of a hassle.

Well first off i did tried that but didn't worked.
Second even if it passed 24 hours it will be in the front page for uknown reasons even if it's a glitch.

No my friend. I don't believe this should be on the front page but since DA change his system and now it was showing regular pics now and then. I had two pics in the front page before. That's why i put a warning on all of my drawings if they do get in the front page. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I'm not going to ask the question, I'm going to answer it. dA has changed their Popular section. You, my dear Grimphantom, are most likely being watched a lot. That gives your deviations a high view count. dA has changed it's popular section on the front page not because of the amount of favs it has gotten but because of the amount of views it has gotten. There's your explanation. And since I've seen your work a bit now, also noticed you visiting my page, let me extend this comment with something about your art.
Most of what I've seen, was... okay. This piece stands out however. Your anatomy, as far as humanoid, is the best to date. Your facial design is nice and near to flawless on this piece. It is very well done. Congratulations. Also for making the front page so many times.

Why thank you. Yeah i know that DA's popular section change since last month. Many people are still mad about this new system but they have to realize that people like me that get in the front page for uknown reason is not our fault being there in the first place.
Also thanx for your observation on my gallery and my latest work. This one did took me awhile to draw because of the proportions that i had to do also with the clothing because it was mostly the hard part to do but i'm glad with the results.

To necessarily true...I've seen some pics get in front page with barely 100 views and a couple of favs and comments (2 or 3). I'll try to get some screenshots when that happens.
Also, this pic will end up with thousands of views...but just because it's in front page, simply compare to the views of others works from this artist.
This system uses another criterea, other than views to choose some of the pics in front page.
