So, I'm not happy with the way my camera picked up this piece, nor am I happy with the way my prismas are drawing on this bristol board. I'm having an identity crises with my medium!:thumb131061520:
I used Sakky's awesome ginzuishou pose for this one.
Anyway, this might end up being my final submission for the Traditional Sailors Animamates event, but it feels so... empty. My knee-jerk reaction was to photoshop a bismuth crystal behind her, but that defeats the purpose of traditional media. I might actually draw it as a background, but MAN, if you don't know the complexity of a bismuth crystal, go look em up.
Suggestions would be fantastic, actually.

She is gorgeous! Love the blue-green scheme and the Greek key-style spirals on her outfit. I also really like her facial features. She seems so sweet-looking, I almost wonder how she became an Animamate . . .

Oh shoot. XD After several attempts at designing my senshi I picked a Macaw for my animal too, with a similar color scheme. I even thought of doing a longer in the back skirt. I didn't color mine yet so I can still change mine to something else.
Yours is very lovely, love the folds on the skirt and the braid and all the little details you have in there.

Thanks! This was a pleasure to work on! The original image has her name written out in a way that uses the square structure, but my camera just did not want to pick it up. I'll try to reshoot the image again tomorrow.

Thanks! I may have been pulling to hard from the "Brazilian" aspect, and not from the sailor fuku. Maybe we'll see more of her in the future!
