I think IΒ΄ve commented about this painting before.. but I have to again. I love this one. I love how you painted the girl/womanΒ΄s face, I love the touch of wind, the colours.. I see a poem in this, but I still lack words for it.

I really like the movement. I can feel the wind in the blanket and in her hair.
There is an intriguing shape to her face, and to the waviness and body of her hair. She has a pixie-like quality, which adds delightfully to the fantasy.
I experience her as a fully-developed character involved in some miraculous adventure.
The wolf's tongue is such an interesting touch. It's disarming, and peaceful. Quite fascinating--very nice.
Overall, this painting pulls me in to a completely unique world. It gives me to imagining so many possiblities.

Yeah, that's the wolf's tail over her thigh, like he's embracing her in a sensual fashion.
I got in trouble for that tongue. lol.

I remember that show that you refer to and i alos remember the stuff that they let in. This piece was the best of the catagory

Thank you! I never understood what their problem was. I think it was a little too sensual and got a few people too . . . "stimulated." I had one of the judges tell me that all the female judges thought it was lovely, but the men were upset by it. Oh, well. At least it made an impact, I guess. Better than no reaction at all.

Yeah, it's actually meant to be a sensual piece. Originally her bosom was bare, but I got so much flak about it that I covered her up, just enough so that it's still suggestive but not totally obvious (I actually had one show refuse to display it). I always thought little red riding hood was a bit sexy, in a dark sort of way, what with all that devouring and all. I wasn't aiming to convey that particular story, but it wound up with echoes of that sensuality.

Ah, I've always thought that too!! I really like this piece of yours, you did a great job with it. ^___^ That eye contact is definitely sensual. Wow, it got refused from a show? :/ But you did such a wonderful job!
