Amid the smoke and remains of what was once eleven chaos emeralds and the Syphon was the brother Edmund no longer knew- for though it was still Dimitri, his mind was dominated by the powerful being known as ‘Enerjak’....

I must say that my all-time favorite Dark Legion moment has to be this. Enerjak was perhaps the most badass ArchieSonic villain ever. I don't often see Dimitri/Enerjak pics anymore- in fact, when you ask someone about him, they think you mean KNUCKLES!! Agh!! Sorry, I'm not fond of the concept of multiple Enerjaks... that took away something that made Dimi special (And to add insult to injury, he lived the rest of his life as a FLOATING HEAD! Aaah!!!)
Because there are some visual inconsistencies between several comics I had to decide whether or not to have him in full Enerjak attire. But because Mammoth Mogul obtained his attire INSTANTLY, and we see Dimitri leap out of Mt. Fate dressed in this, I came to the decision that he should have that get up from the start of it all. Besides, it's more fun to draw
Anyway, this was done for the current contest. Hope you like it.

Ah that's a hard one to answer. It is, and yet it is not canon. It would be if Archie hadn't rebooted the series and wiped out a lot of characters, and the histories attached to them. from existence.

I actually liked the idea of Enerjak being an immortal spirit that can merge with another echidna to become a demi-god. But Dimitri is the only one I ever truly respect. Both as Enerjak and when he became a head in a bubble. I also think that the writers actually re-wrote him becoming Enerjak right off the bat. My only criticism (And please note this is to my own eyes) is that I find the black kind of clashes with the other radiant colors a little. But I do like the way you moved the face plate over his nose. And though I would like the dreads to have a little more flow to them I do love the peeling look that they have (although the aging of the dreads makes more sense after 300 years). The addition of Edmund and the emerald dust pretty much completes it. About his mouth area though. Is it also gold or the normal mouth color for echidna? (The shading makes it a little hard for me to tell)

sweet! I always loved your echidna art, so it is a joy to see it again. Even more so that it features Dimitri and Edmund.
Dimitri looks powerful as ever, the way you have done him with that grin and dominating pose. I also like how you did the texturing on his dreadlocks.
My heart sinks when I see poor Edmunds expression, I love how you have done him! you can feel his pain, losing his brother to that madness.

Okay, the fact you did Dimitri and Edmund makes me happy. xDD I love these characters so much. You did a fantastic job on this. 
I don't mind Enerjak Knuckles, but I guess because the outcome for me (personally) was so unexpected.
