Description Calling all Vixenz... Report to HQ at once!

Digital photomanipulation... panorama stitched from two parts.

One layer is the original scene, slight brightness/contrast adjustment.

Next is the darkened sky: this was taken before dusk on a cloudy day so I gamma-corrected the lighting and overlayed it with a slight transparency on the original background.

Top layer is the spotlight, Vixenz Signal, which is obvious digital enhancement (Paintshop Pro)

This is Part I of Stage II of Top Secret Project NV-X... animation and revalation will follow... patience is a virtue, and one I am sorely lacking roflmao!

Looks good!

Just a pointer though, if you wanted to make the beam a little more realistic, make the shape on a separate layer on top of the others, and then turn down the opacity. A good example is the beam of a flashlight. You can see right through it unless you're shining it into a cloud of smoke or dust. Then make the circle shape where the light is pointing just a bit brighter.

TO THE VIXEN CAVE!!

That's actually what my original effect was intended to be, but the finished project was a little too weak-looking and I felt it needed a stronger beam. In the rotation of the animation, this frame is actually the beam shining OUT over the water as opposed to over the cityscape and sky behind it... he rationalizes so well lol

Well as long as the logo stands out. That's what counts!
