They just made a big mistake with taking an older actress for Cruella de Vil in the live action movie. Glenn Close was fabulous, and she did a GREAT JOB playing Cruella, but... in the original Dodie Smith's novel "The hundred and one Dalmatians", it clearly says that Cruella was Mrs. Dearly's (Anita's) classmate. So, Cruella actually shouldn't be older than Anita. So, in the animated movie Cruella is not old. They just drew her to be "ugly", so that the young children can better hate her. But I don't think she's ugly...
