MEET JAY wow what a terrible name. I really couldn't think of anything, lololol. warning: this character is really dumb.

Jay is kinda dumb. He tends to zone out a lot, especially when he should be listening. Although he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, he's extremely positive and a bit happy-go-lucky. When he was younger, he really didn't want to be a pokemon trainer. At all. His mind changed, however, when he met Jakk. Jakk's drive for glory sparked a desire for the same in Jay. Since then, he's been traveling throughout the regions to improve his skills with his pokemon.

Gender: Male
Ability: Blaze: When a Pokémon with Blaze uses a fire-type move, the power will increase by 1.5x if the user has less than or equal to 33% of its maximum HP remaining.
Nature: Rash
He met Jay when he was still a cyndaquil. Jakk grew up outside of Olivine, constantly picking fights with other pokemon in order to become "the best." Needless to say he lost a lot of fights. Jay came across him after a nasty defeat and helped him regain his strength. Over time, the two became inseparable. Jakk acts before thinking and can get very hot headed.

Ability: Natural Cure: heals any status ailments upon switching out.
Nature: Sassy
Magenta and Jay met when Jay traveled through Hoenn. She was perched in a tree when Jay decided to practice with Jakk one day. She observed them for a while, introducing herself after a few hours of observation. She claimed she enjoyed their 'spunk', thus requesting to join in their endeavors. The two obviously accepted and she's been very close with them ever since. She shares Jay's upbeat, positive attitude.

Ability: Inner Focus: prevents flinching.
Nature: Timid
Majik met Jay walking through Goldenrod. He had just escaped being held as a prize at the casino, thus causing him to be very skiddish around trainers. Upon first encounter, he teleported away from Jay and hid out in the underground of Goldenrod. Jay eventually found his location and coaxed him into joining his team to help him train so he wouldn't be locked up like that again. Majik is very timid and quiet.
