HELLO WALL OF TEXT IN THIS PICTURE I AM SO SORRYBasically Grind's Toon/Sonic style ref. Just something fun to doodle and ink in my spare time. She is a completely different character then anthro!Grind, so thought it'd be interesting to make a ref and explain how they are different, I guess.
She is dumb but I am really liking this look for her. I did a few sketches of her in her poncho, but I didn't like them, so I didn't include them. Might add some later, but it doesn't really matter, lmao.

Hahaha well thanks! TBH I thought it was really stupid, but makes sense, I suppose? Since she's a dragon, there aught to be a lot of magic goin' around where she comes from! Shame she can't use it at all (besides manipulating the shirt wings, but that isn't her own magic)

I just think chaos emeralds tend to be a kinda cheap shot. Plus, when I have a character made for a fandomy thing, I generally don't want them to interact with/have a part of the canon story, if that makes sense? :'I

Yeah, I think that makes sense too. I don't think it's stupid but, as I said, I wouldn't have thought of it, so I think it's pretty creative. And I think it'd be cheating if she could use magic unless she had, like, Chaos Emeralds (SUPER SAIYAN OVER 9000 GRAAAAH).

Hahahaa yeah- I don't particularly like character with access to unrestricted magic (actually now that i think about it i really like the idea of magical clothing/objects with restricted capabilities LOL) and imo Chaos Emeralds tend to be a kinda cheap shot, they tend to be overused. I MEAN THERE ARE LIKE 7 PLUS THE MASTER EMERALD IDK I WOULDN'T THINK THEY ARE TERRIBLY EASY TO COME ACROSS?

(Now that I think about it, people need to expand more on the species of fan characters. Don't get me started on hedgehogs. 8C)
That's why we stay away from that crap now, though. But most, if not all, people with fan characters start out that way (I think). We just didn't know any better until we realize how unoriginal it is (and boring; now that I think about it, I might have to do some revamping myself).

Her sonic form has always had wings! Well, excluding an alt version she had for a little while.
Technically though she doesn't have wings- she can just summon a pair when she's wearing her ~MAGICAL SHIRT~ lmfao.
